Kaitlyn Tran

Hey cuties! I'm Kaitlyn and I'm from Stockton (Central Valley represent 🥳). I first encountered REACH! as a high school senior when I was invited to attend Senior Weekend (SW) in 2021. Although the program was virtual, I had an immediate connection with the mxntors, K-12 team, and other Senior Weekend attendees. It was because of SW that I felt reassured coming to Berkeley as an Asian American woman, learning that I can find a safe and supportive community at a Primarily White Institution (PWI). I served as an intern for the K-12 Recruitment team before currently serving as a K-12 Recruitment Coordinator with Darleene! I continuously come back to the space because I love seeing the fire and excitement in our students' eyes as we inspire them to dream bigger and chase after their goals.

In my free time, I love playing Maplestory, going on hot girl walks, spending time with my dog, seeing my friends, and watching a variety of movies and TV shows!
